We are an artisan bakery based in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, creating handcrafted cakes that are full of flavour, character, and just the right amount of individuality. Founded by artisan baker Zak, The Wobbly Cake Co. was built around a simple idea: cakes should feel homemade in the very best sense — generous, distinctive, beautifully made, and never overworked into uniform perfection. Some cakes may wobble a little, but every one is made with heart.

Our range includes celebration cakes, seasonal bakes, market favourites, and specialist dietary cakes, with a particular reputation for gluten-free baking made without compromise.

In 2026, The Wobbly Cake Co. was awarded a Gold Medal at Britain’s Best Cake, one of the UK baking industry’s leading national competitions, held at the NEC Birmingham and organised by British Baker. The award-winning cake — our Gluten-free Lemon, Passionfruit and Mango Sponge — was recognised nationally for flavour, texture, balance and craftsmanship, placing The Wobbly Cake Co. among the year’s medal-winning cake makers across the UK.
